</p><h2>
2022-2023 Walk for FUNds</h2>
<div style="line-height: 17.28px; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><u><b>What is the Walk for FUNds that is being held on May 19, 2023?</b></u></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 17.28px; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;">The
Walk for FUNds is Boght Hills Elementary School PTA’s main fundraiser
of the year. The PTA relies on this major event to raise funds that
support all the PTA-sponsored fun family events and educational programs
that more than 580 Boght Hills students and their families will enjoy
this year! The Walk for FUNds is an opportunity for students’ families,
relatives, and neighbors, in conjunction with our local business
partners, to support Boght Hills through sponsorship of our students.
This event builds community, encourages exercise, and allows our
students to make a visible contribution to their school, without asking
Boght Hills families to sell door-to-door! We’ve moved this year’s event
to the fall so we can include fun outdoor activities such as walking,
running, and completing an obstacle course.<br /></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 17.28px; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<br /></div>
<div style="line-height: 17.28px; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><u><b>How will we raise money?</b></u></span></div>
<div style="line-height: 17.28px; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;">A
pledge form will come home shortly. We hope every family that is able
will consider making a monetary pledge to support our school and
students. Our goal is to raise $10,000 to support the many educational
and family programs that your PTA puts on every year! Students will have
two weeks to ask family, neighbors and friends to contribute. Every
donation, big or small, is greatly appreciated. All pledges will be
collected in advance of the event.</span></div>
<div style="line-height: 17.28px; margin-bottom: 0in;">

<ol><li><div style="line-height: 17.28px; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><b>Wear their sneakers!</b></span><span style="font-size: x-small;"> All students will be scheduled for a fun 30 minutes outdoors, rotating through several active stations.</span></div>
</li><li><div style="line-height: 17.28px; margin-bottom: 0in;">
<span style="font-size: x-small;"><b>Fill out the permission slip</b></span><span style="font-size: x-small;"> on
the reverse side of this form. All students MUST have their Permission
Slip waiver signed and filled out completely in order to participate.
Return promptly to your child’s classroom teacher.</span></div>

<span style="font-size: x-small;">Be on the lookout for the </span><span style="font-size: x-small;"><b>PLEDGE FORM</b></span><span style="font-size: x-small;"> coming
home next week. We will hold daily prize drawings during the collection
period and will award class prizes too. If you’d like to donate a
prize, email us! We’d be very grateful.</span></div>
